2 of 2 things I wrote today.

*from the ghost story picking up from where the little girl is excited to see the house, Moving Guys and her daddy from the car*

I park leaving moving space for the van. By the time I get out Helen has managed to get her self out of her car seat and is bouncing on the seat next to it. She is still short enough that she can stand upright on the car’s seats. As she ducks her head to get out I marvel at how little time she has left before she leaves all of her preschool things behind. She is growing so fast.

“Oh, Good you are here!” I here my husband calls as he approaches us. He seems a bit worried. I look at him questioningly. He comes up picks Helen up. “It seems my keys don’t want to work. I am hoping that you have the deed with you and your keys will work so we don’t have to call a locksmith.”
“OK, I think I have all the papers. If not they are in the blur file box that was near the apartment door.” I say informationally as I walk towards the house. I pull my keys from my pocket. I can’t remember whose keys we used yesterday. I look at them. They are very new. If there is any wear on them I cannot see it. Walking up the Stine and Brick path way I feel nervous and exited as I will be unlocking the door to my house with an audience.
“Mommy can I help?” Helen asks as I put the first key into the dead bolt.
