*I think I missed writing a paragraph here but there is the next part.*
I open the suitcase and find on top of everything my favorite grey sweats. Thinking of the promised nap and the obvious stress the day has brought on myself this seems to be the perfect choice. I strip off my wet jeans and turtleneck. And the warmth of the soft sweats are more welcome than I Imagine. My knee is puffing up a bit obviously not a simple bruise but I don’t think it is quite bad enough for a visit to the doctor today. I promise myself I’ll go tomorrow if it still hurts. There is a knock at the door. “I’m comming in Hon” says Justin through the door. He slowly opens the door and comes in with the first aid kit. “Let’s see that knee.” he says
I sit down on the edge of the bed and he sits next to me. I gingerly scoot the cuff elastic of my pants over my knee involuntary sucking in breath as my fingernail push into the puffiness of the swelling.
“Well, that isn’t going to be pretty.” says Justin as I hear the slight pop of the ice pack as he squeezes it to activate it. He looks at my knee and then meets my eyes. He hands me the ice pack. “Here you put this on I don’t want to make it hut more. And you should lay down with Helen she is curled up in her quilt and sleeping on her bed.”
“Wow she fell asleep fast and Yeah I’ll join her I could use a little nap.”
“The movers will be gone soon. They just need to Bring in the couches and the dinging room table. After they are gone I’ll go get the cats. I think they have had enough time at the vets.” He stands takes my chin in his hand and kisses me. Thw warmth of his kiss is reassuring and calming. “Moving has always been stressful for you. We have finally bought a house. Lets never move again.”
“Sounds good to me. I love you.”
“I know,” he replies with the wink that means so much.

Good job Vicki. No real comments on this part.
