The mist deposited a dusting of sugar to the trees.
Small crystals clinging to every branch and every needle
Each tree a silent frozen sparkling motionless tableau
The stillness of the morning is broken by the tinkling of falling ice
The trees are waking shaking off their crystalline coating
Dusting all below with the sparkling crystals they once wore.

I liked everything about this except the repeated use of crystal. Very pretty imagery. Sure glad I was able to see some of this myself.
