“In case someone counted wrong or one gets spoiled”

“You won’t know which one until you open it, No names is what they want.”
“Why do they want no name”
“They want you to have it easy and fast to hand them out”

“Ok From Me to Harry and Olivia and Millie, and then these are from Holly to Kate and Tonya.”
“Not really to Millie and Harry and Olivia.”
“What about Kate and Tonya?”
“Do you want to do Kate and Tonya?”
“Yea how do you spell Kate and Tonya?”
“We will do that we we get back”
“OK and Holly will do all her's then right”
“Yep”
“OK”
“Mommy?”
“Yes, sweetie”
“See this heart sticker”
“Yes, sweetie”
“I am going to stick it on a piece of paper for you tomorrow at explorations, for you. Cause I love you Mommy”

You have to love the reasoning and the form it takes when it pops out of kids mouths. Cute Vicki!
ReplyDeleteDoes it bother you that there can't be names, even in small classes? X has 16 (including him) in his class and they are working on recognizing letters/ names. Seems like having them match up names would be a good activity. Nope. No names. Quick and speedy please. Welcome to drive through love.
I rebelled Holly's 1st grade year and helped out and made sure that she got them in the right bags.
ReplyDeleteGriffin's day care the never had that rule. I think I will be talking about that next time I talk with teachers about that. It is part of the learning environment and learning about others. IMHO
