So I had a tone of school stuff to do today (for my kids that is.) In the end My creative time was spent with them and getting things started or re-routed.
I got the string/yarn I dyed on day 3 wound into a ball to start knitting what will be a book mark (or 2) and got that cast on. I unknitted the hat I started on day 9 back to where there was a BAD mistake and fixed it and made more progress. I taught my daughter to cast on and got her to knit 2 rows she hate the yarn but like knitting.
My son and I spent about half an hour working on his valentines. Store bought nothing special but her chatted. and I recorded some of the conversation here: http://vickiswritingbetaplace.blogspot.com/2010/02/assembling-valentines-21110.html
Now I am just waiting to make a plan for tomorrow's meeting with school people.
Busy busy....

"Busy, busy..." is an understatement! Geez Louise!
ReplyDeleteI have another idea for you... one that turned out well even if I don't have pictures for proof.
Melt chocolate, dip marshmellows on toothpicks in, then roll in crushed graham crackers or sprinkles. We went with pink sprinkles for Valentine's Day.
