I have bee suffering with a nasty cold for a few days and drinking a lot of tea. I have been home and found that my tiny teapot would get cold very quickly. I have been wanting a tea cozy fro a while. So I decided that I needed to make one for my tiny teapot. So after a quick read of some patterns on the internet I decided to make one. It was done totally freehand. the fleece I used I have had for several years as a left over from a failed poncho for my eldest niece. I knew it would not work well in my sewing machine. So it was all done by hand and that makes for a completely handmade look. Since my cold has been caught by my son I made him some Kool-aid to help his throat. While making it I remembered dying some yarn in college for a project. I want to use this cotton string for a project later in the month and decided that I could dye it. Here is the result. can't wait to use it next week.
