Dear Bill,
I wanted you to know I have been thinking about you every day since that night at German House, probably before that, probably before our weekend together before we thought better of trying to become something more. I’d say that it was unfair to Dave but He has never stopped thinking about Sara.
Sara called tonight and I left the house before Dave got off the phone. It’s the first time she’s called since she left and I think my job is done there I think she is back and he has been delivered whole and healed.
That means I am alone again. I don’t mind but I wanted you to know that you are the one I have been thinking about for a lone time. I know I wrote that already. I have never thought so much about someone for so long and never had my heart broken by them before I was thinking about them. I have never thought about someone so much when I have been with someone else. It is amazing to me.
No matter what we said about not wanting a long distance relationship I just wanted to be with you that is all. Bt I needed to respect your wishes it didn’t hurt because I knew what you were saying and we both have too much pain in our pasts to want to do that again.
I would like to try to see if we can be something more than friends. Is here a way we can try. I hope so.
So instead of sending this I am going to call you but I will wait until Dave calls me and lets me know. Oh wait. He is here. I have to go.
I will call you soon. I can’t wait to talk to you.

Yes this is true. Dave and Sara got married as they should have.... The Saint won for Dave today he died in 1996. That in itself is another story.
ReplyDeleteYeah true. When Dave turned up at the house I lived it he brought me my stuff Sara was taking him back as she should.
It was the easiest break up ever.

I don't remediable writing him a letter, but I did call him after Dave left.
ReplyDeleteThis is a snap shot of an interesting summer. Sara and I were good friends and picked up some again later. She moved away in 1997. We haven't seen her in several years now.
